52 Podcast Interviews #06 – Molly Fite

I met Molly Fite while working as a teaching assistant for the Jim Henson Company’s Diversity Training program last summer.  Her ‘out of left field’ sense of humor instantly made me laugh.

I remember one night, the class was doing an exercise where their puppets were in a dance club and they were to come towards camera in pairs and improvise a few lines and then move off so the next pair could go.  We had loud music pumping to set the atmosphere and when Molly and her partner came towards the camera, Molly’s puppet yells over the music, “Hey!  You wanna go kill a guy?!”  I lost it.  So funny and a perfect representation of Molly’s sense of humor.

It was a lot of fun to sit down with Molly and learn a more about her from her background in theatre, her stand up comedy career, improv and her first forays into puppetry.  This is a fun interview that I think you will enjoy.

Give the show a listen and let me know what you think of it after you do.  I always appreciate the feedback.
